fic: How Jared and CM2 met... inspired by an ad ;)

So, I was chatting with my friend, priceless_pixie, when she linked me to a hilarious Craig's List Ad. She told me to tell her who it sounded like, and there was no question. I mean, really, it's like every Chad ever written in a fic was meshed together and wrote that ad. So, of course, I had to write something for it. Please enjoy. <3 _{You should totally read the ad before you read this little snippet, it'll make way more sense...}

Jared isn't entirely sure what he expected when he decided to answer the ad he saw on Craig's List. Someone just as eccentric looking as their post had been, maybe. Definitely not the squinty-eyed blond standing in his doorstep with a smile on his face that just spelled trouble.

"Konichiwa," squinty-eyes says, grinning wolfishly. "The most kick-ass fucking roommate has arrived."

He feels his mouth curving up without his permission. The guy is standing up straight, no sign of a slouch, and confident. A chuckle lodges somewhere in Jared's chest and he can feel it ready to bubble over and out of him. Before it can overwhelm him, he sticks out a hand.

"Jared," he says with what must be an overly amused smile, but the guy doesn't seem to mind.

"Mayhem," the guy answers, taking Jared's hand in a firm grip. "But my friends call me Chad on occasion."

There's no way he can hold in his laughter at that and Jared shakes his head, stepping back and letting Chad in. "All right then, Mayhem. Come on in."
